Based in Ottawa, The European Union Film Festival (EUFF) has been a highlight of the Canadian Film Institute’s (CFI) programming for over 30  years. The films showcased each year are a diverse mix (drama, comedy, tragedy, historical dramas) of European cinema.

In 2016, the CFI hired MacLaine Marketing to modernize their marketing strategy, moving away from traditional ad buys in print publications and towards online social media marketing.  We provided them with a strategy that included guidelines and a plan of action for a social media to promote the 31st edition of the European Union Film Festival.
